The Chinese translation and localization are his work: course vocabulary, technical terms and interface copy all get checked back and forth between the two languages until the Chinese stops reading like a translation. Next come bug fixes and maintenance, building and testing new features, talking with users and helping them with their subscriptions, and part of the outreach — what he wants is not only the development phase, but the long stretch after launch, when a service is actually kept running and corrected.
